Earlsfield is one of the smallest areas we deal with as a company, and therefore we have an intimate knowledge of every nook and cranny. We opened our second office in 2002 in Earlsfield, and after nine years of letting and selling thousands of properties we can now safely say that there has not been one road where Jacksons Estate Agents have not sold or let a property.
Earlsfield is a largely unknown area of South West London, everyone knows Clapham, Battersea and Wimbledon, even if they move to London from elsewhere in the country, but not everyone knows Earlsfield and this has become part of its appeal. It is largely an area that people settle in because they have an affinity with its compact nature. They like having everything on their doorsteps and visiting bars and restaurants where they become ‘regulars’, rather than visiting unwelcoming places.
The same can be said of Earlsfield’s housing. It fits into quite a compact area, and the accommodation largely consists of small pockets of similar housing. To elaborate you will find lots of one bedroom maisonettes around Penwith Road, large housing around the north end of Magdelen Road, and two bedroom maisonettes around Tranmere Road.
Earlsfield is a very straightforward area in which to live. It is not fussy or complicated, it simply is a nice area with good housing and lots of restaurants and bars to cater for people who are looking for a good lifestyle. It is not pretentious in any way, and it is one of our favourite areas of South West London. We hope to provide a service to our thousands of clients in Earlsfield for many years to come.
Schools in the area include: Beatrix Potter and Earlsfield Primary.
