Occupying a central position on Old York Road is our boutique office in Wandsworth Town.
The area to the South of Old York Road referred to locally as ‘The Tonsleys’, is made up primarily of artisans cottages. The architecture becomes later Victorian and generally larger as you travel South – culminating with the elegant and highly regarded double fronted houses of Westover Road and Earlsfield Road. Towards the river Thames there are a series of more recent developments including Riverside West, Battersea Reach and Plantation Wharf. Many of these apartments have far reaching river views.
The amenities of the area are rich and varied including the independent shops bars and restaurants of Old York Road through to the Southside Centre in the heart of the Town which is presently undergoing a £50m revamp and plays host to the likes of Waitrose, Cineworld and later this year Debenhams. The site of Young’s Brewery, Britain’s oldest brewery dating back to 1851, is also being developed making this an exciting time to take up residence in Wandsworth.
Transport links are good with Wandsworth Town Network Rail station offering services terminating at London Waterloo via Clapham Junction. There are numerous bus routes locally.
