We know that 85% of the viewings that we arrange come from the our fantastic staff speaking to our customers, not from online ads. We pick up the phone and talk to our database of applicants.”
“There are any number of negative chat about the London property market in the press at the moment, but with around a 1,000 viewings happening every week across Jacksons offices and over 3,000 applicants active on our database, we are nothing but busy!”
Lettings is experiencing similar success. “We had an exceptionally busy summer and are seeing record transaction numbers in lettings into the autumn,” says Nick Hignell, Jacksons Lettings Director. “Registrations from new tenants are at an all-time high. There are less properties available than in 2017 but prices remain are fairly stable,” he continues. Stability appears to be on everyone's wish list; “We are seeing more and more tenants demanding longer-term tenancies, particularly on larger properties,” says Nick.
Corporate lettings enquiries have continued to increase month-on-month, with international companies and individuals keen to secure property in exciting South-West London. “Demand from international corporate professionals is almost matching the ever-strong demand from graduates in areas such as Balham and Tooting,” explains Nick.
